Terms & Conditions Cross Dormont Campsite 2024

1. Please arrive no earlier than 12pm on the day of your arrival.
 
2. NO CAMPFIRES. We are a working farm in the Lake District National Park, and we do not permit campfires. 
 
3. Barbeques are only allowed if raised up off the grass.
 
4. No stones to be removed from the walls.
 
5. Dogs must be always kept on a lead and cleaned up after.
 
6. The area must be kept clean and free of litter, and all rubbish should be   placed in the bins provided.  The site area must be cleared of all rubbish before leaving.
 
7. Noise must be always kept to a reasonable level. No disturbance or noise between the hours of 11 P.M to 8A.M!
 
8. If term 7 is broken, and complaints are made. You will be asked to leave immediately, and no refund will be given. If you refuse to leave, the police will be notified, and the necessary steps will be taken to remove you from the site.
 
9. Children must be always supervised.
 
10. Only book in for your intended night’s stay. No refunds will be given due to poor weather conditions, or any other reasons.
 
11. Please book in to either the bungalow or the small caravan in the yard on arrival, and before pitching your tent.
 
12. Please make sure your tent isn’t too large before booking. Our plots are approximately 22 foot squared. We may be able to accommodate larger tents further up the field, but this would be on a first come first serve basis, and there is only limited room. Contact us in advance of your stay on 07949155265 to ask availability.
 
13. We don’t accept large groups, Stag/Hen parties, or people who are here just to party. We are a site to accommodate families, or those who want to experience the beauty of the Lake District. Please take this into consideration when booking. Again, as per term 7, term 8 will be applied if you are deemed as a large group who are here for the party life, again no refund will be given. Please take this into consideration.
 
14. All bookings must be a minimum of a 2-night stay.
 
15. All guests must depart by 11am on the day of departure. If you decide you’d like to stay for longer than your original booking, please check with us that we can accommodate you.
